Cosplay Contests at Kami-Con
Are you ready for some fun and prizes? Kami-Con is hosting a cosplay contest with 3 categories: Novice, Journeyman, and Master. Each category will have a trophy and cash prize for the winner. Also, there’s a Best in Show category that comes with a trophy and a $250 prize. And don’t worry if you don’t win, there’s also 3 Judge’s awards that come with a trophy.
But before you sign up, make sure to read the rules. A minimum of 65% of the costume must be constructed by the contestant and costumes that have won an award in any other contest are not permitted. And there’s a pre-judging process on a first-come, first-serve basis, so make sure to come early.
Also, there’s an Exhibition Cosplay Contest for those who just want to have fun. The rules are simple, you must be wearing a costume and it cannot have won an award in another contest. Just have fun, be courteous, and be kind to your fellow cosplayers.
